Is Akon Chat end-to-end encrypted?
Yes. One-to-one chats, private groups and calls use end-to-end encryption. Large public communities use transport encryption so moderators can enforce rules.
Where is my data stored?
Data is stored in secure, certified data centres with encryption at rest. Business customers can request a data-processing agreement.
Do you sell user data or show ads?
No. Akon Chat is funded by paid plans. We never sell personal data or read your messages for advertising.
How do I report a security issue?
Please email support@akontec.com with details. We follow responsible disclosure and respond within 48 hours.
